Celebrating Norwegian Constitution Day (May 17)

(no)

This was a very different celebration of the the National Day. Did I miss the celebration in Norway? Most definitively. I know I missed among other thing a BBQ party with Norwegian hot dogs and the good company. But I can't complain. As you can see from the picture there weren't any BBQ but they served a Norwegian porridge called "rømmegrøt". Read more about the porridge made with soure cream here: rømmegrøt (opens in new window). This is the first time in maybe 15 years I have tasted it. That's because I haven't enjoyed the taste of it. And I can tell it's going to be yet another 15 years until I taste it again. There weren't anything wrong with the the way it was prepared, several others liked it, but I just can't stand the taste of it. Except from this food serving it was an ordinary day here in the capital of Colombia.
