Visa, rings and vacation

I den siste tiden har vi tatt det rolig. Men det er ikke dermed sagt at vi ikke har gjort noe. Først og fremst så har vi ordnet med visum. Ønsker ikke problemer med immigrasjonsmyndighetene. Esther-Lill fikk en førstehåndsopplevelse av hvordan byråkratiet fungerer her. Vi slapp billig unna da vi kun brukte halvannen time for å få et stempel i passet :-). Skal sies at det også ble tatt fingeravtrykk, samtlige fingre, og et bilde.

Lately we have taken it calmly. This it not the same as saying we don't have done anything. First and foremost we have sorted out with the visa. Don't want any problems with the immigration authorities. Esther-Lill got first hand experience on how the bureaucracy works. We were lucky and got away with only one and a half hour to get the stamp in the passport :-). Worth to mention that it were also taken fingerprints of all fingers and a picture.

Vi har også kjøpt oss ringer. Vi fant ringene vi likte hos Bauer på kjøpesenteret Centro Comercial Andino. I tillegg til å være de eneste som hadde den type ringer som vi så etter, så fikk vi også førsteklasses service. Dette er i sterk kontrast til en annen butikk, et kjent designermerke, som vi var i. Vi ble møtt med en nedlatende holdning til oss og virket nærmest helt uinteresserte i å betjene oss. Kan være fordi at vi gikk uformelt kledd, olabukse og hettegenser, noe deres vanlige klientell ikke går kledd i.

We have also bought rings. We found the rings at Bauer in the shopping center Centro Comercial Andino. In addition to be the only one who had the type of rings we wanted they also gave us first class service. This is in great contrast to another shop, a known designer brand, which we visited. We were met with a patronizing attitude and seemed almost not interested in helping us. This might be because we were informal dressed, jeans and hoodie, something their usual clients doesn't wear.

I tillegg til dette så har vi planlagt en tur til. Denne gangen reiser vi til kysten og varmere klima. Valget falt til slutt på Cartagena. Blir godt med litt sol og varme. Vi reiser i morgen fredag fra Bogotá og 19°C til strand og 31°C.

In addition to this we have planned another trip. This time we're going to the coast and warmer climate. We finally decided to go to Cartagena. Is going to be nice with some sun and warmth. We leave tomorrow from Bogotá and 19°C to beaches and 31°C.

(no) Under er et av de andre bildene vi tok av ringen. Hvem ville trodd det skulle være så vanskelig å få en hånd til å se normal ut på et bilde. Det er ikke alle som er forunt å ha samme modellegenskapene som George Costanza fra Seinfeld...
